Preface

Kranthi Kumar and Kiranmayee are a newly wed couple in their early 20s. Kiran is an MBA grad from Pune University. They were originally from Tamil Nadu but settled in Pune. She was the only child for her parents. She got married immediately after finishing her college. She was a kabaddi player in school and university. She represented Maharashtra in National Games as well. She always had a flair for marketing and she wanted to have a career in it. But her father forced her to marry Kranthi as their priest told them it was a good match.

Kranthi was an engineer from Vellore Institute of technology. He belonged to a simple and a traditional family from village near Salem. His mother was a dance teacher and he learnt classical dance from her. Being the only child for his parents, he had humble beginnings and grew up like an introvert. He never had thick friends in boys as they always either bullied him for being girly or avoided him for being too classy for them. He was a cler misfit amongst boys. This troubled him a lot when he was a kid. His mom used to distract him by making him concentrate on studies and dance. As a schools student he won prestigious award in Thanjavur for his dance. Wearing makeup, jewellery or saree was not alien to him. After joining college, realised his strengths and and weaknesses and focused more on studies and became a topper. He got a job in animation industry in hyderabad. He lived a simple life in a rented 2BHK 3KM away from his office. He was just 6 months elder to his wife. But as the horoscopes matched, his parents were convinced that he will have good life with Kiran.

Chapter 1
The honeymoon period.

After marriage they settled in his 2BHK flat in hyderabad. Soon they found that they completed eachother. Kiran was an aggressive and strong tomboy girl who wasn't very good at managing household chores. She was good at managing money and lifting heavy bags or gas cylinders etc... but far from perfect in cooking. She hated doing household chores before her marriage. But now she was learning to do it. She loved to ride bikes. She used to go from Pune to Mumbai or shirdi on friends' bikes. She rode heavy bikes like a pro. Now in hyderabad they own a honda Activa which Kranthi used to commute daily. So whenever they had to go out to get some groceries or fruits or vegetables etc, she used to volunteer to go out on bike. Kranthi was pretty much happy with an eccentric wife. He was good at all chores of the house he tried to teach her how to cook, sew & paint etc... but she was a slow learner in these things. He often took her help in fixing tubelights or moving furniture or when plumbing was needed. He thought she was really helpful as he hated going out or interacting with others.

They both felt that God has indeed given them a spouse who filled the gaps in their own character. Kiran needed someone with a cool, composed & calm head who will not judge her for her lack of some skills needed by every woman. Kranthi also needed someone whom he can rely on, someone who supports him and brings the much needed liveliness to his sedate, boring & lonely life.

Their love blossomed when on bed. They became one soul in 2 bodies. Just within 2 months they became inseparable thanking the gods for this marriage. They deliberately postponed pregnancy as they both wanted to have an own house before bringing a life onto earth. They both decided to find better jobs to achieve their dreams.

Chapter 2
The careers.

Kiran got a job in a marketing firm as she always wanted to. Her role demanded her to travel a lot so she took the bike. As Kranthi's office was nearby, he depended on uber or rapido. Sometimes when her business meetings were near to his office, she used to either drop him or pick him or both. Kranthi continued in his job while searching for a better one. He got some offers in other cities but they decided not to accept as they wanted to be equidistant from both parents. Hyderabad was ideal for them.

Their work life balance was disturbed when Kiran faced extreme pressure on sales. She used to go early and come late. She worked really hard. Yet when she succeeded, she used to hear comments like "it's easy for girls to do sales. All they need to do is put makeup and say 'please sir' while adjusting their pallu and bat the eyelids a few times". This made her resolve that she will prove them wrong. She avoided makeup, dressed in smart office casuals like trousers and full shirts and Sometimes wearing a blazer and a tie when they go to meet big clients. All these efforts made her visible under limelight in office. Even top bosses started recognising her by name. This envyed all her male colleagues.

This meant kiran was doing more chores. He took pride in her and her success. He was gladly packing her luch box or ironing her clothes. She loved him the way he helped. These small things meant a lot for her. She knew kranthi was doing the bulk of works at home. So to compensate, she bought gifts for him whenever she was late. She giftem him many things like a tie, a smart watch, a fountain pen etc which he rarely used. Finally she ended up using them and felt guilty about it as well. She always urged him to use his gifts. But he simply said I already have it, or I will use it for any occasion etc. Finally she she asked him what he wanted. He said I wanted to buy a sherwani in manyavar for upcoming festival. She said "It's a deal. I will buy it for you. Let's go out on weekend and buy it"

Chapter 3
The gifts.

But on the weekend, she got busy with a rescheduled meeting. Her boss insisted her to work that day and take compensatory off on one of the working days. Kiran always believed that a good salesman should always be ready 24x7 for business. So she said sorry to Kranthi and promised to take him to shopping some other day. As days were passing and she was not getting such opportunity, she asked him his favourite colour and size so that she can order something for him in myntra or ajio so that she can easily return it if he doesn't like it or it doesn't fit him properly.

He told her that he likes majenta and lavender colours. She ordered 2 kurtha pyjamas for him. And told him that when the items arrive he has to wear them first and check if it fits properly. If he is fully satisfied , then only he should cut the price tags and barcodes. She also ordered 2 kurthis for herself in same colours. Since these colours are rare for men, they had to shipped from long distance. So her clothes were delivered first. As Kranthi did not know that she ordered for herself also, he thought they were for him only. Upon arrival, he wore them and found that the collars were different. One had a deep neck (not too deep for him) and One had chinese collar. He like the embroidery work and patterns on them. They did not come with any dupatta so he never guessd that theywere woman's clothes. He found that the pant fitting was a little bit snug for him. They were different and he like it. Though the found the deep neck one as odd..., he did not want to return them as she bought something for the first time and he did not want to offend her. He cut the tags and threw them away.

When she came home, he thanked her for the gifts and kissed her. He told her that he checked them by wearing them and he liked them very much. She checked her notification and found that he misunderstood it as his clothes. But as He was in a good mood, she thought of telling him later after dinner. She was getting calls from office even while having dinner. So she ate slowly while talking over phone. He finished quickly and went into the bedroom and took out the one with collar and wore it and came in front of her. She wanted to laugh.., but as she was on phone, all she could do was to bring out a big smile looking at him and continued to finish the call. He took it as her approval and went back into bedroom and changes into another one and paraded before her. She did the same thing again. So he went back and changed into his normal clothes.

She finished the call and went into bedroom. She controlled her laugh and asked him with a smile "Can I see your clothes again?". "Just now I changed back na...I will not wear again. If you want to see, take our from the cover in my wardrobe and see them and put them back" he replied. She took out the covers and started to undress for trying them. He stopped her and asked her why she was doing that. She replied that she wanted to wear it once and see. He replied saying that those colours will not suit her skintone. Despite his warnings she wore them and found that he was right, the colours did not suit her. She found that the tags were removed. So she could not even return them back. Thus she did not reveal him anything and thought 'anyways he will not go anywhere without me. There is no harm in wearing these at home. All I need to do it to stop him if he wants to wear it outside by something or the other'. So she secretly returned the other merchandise which were meant for him before they arrived.

Chapter 4
The festival.

On the day of festival, he wore the magenta dress. She controlled her laugh and played along as if nothing was out of place. She wore a saree and helped him in preparing food, doing pooja etc. after Pooja he changes back into his old clothes and kept the dress aside to wear it in the evening for temple. In the evening when they were getting ready for temple, she asked him to wear a blue jeans and red shirt as she was wearing similar colour kurthi and wanted to go out as twinning couple. He agreed and did the same.

He wore it back after a couple of days and washed it. Satisfied that it neither shrinked not lose any colour, he cherished it even more. He kept wearing it again and again atleast once in a week. She asked him why he was wearing it so often. He said he liked it a lot. She got used to seeing him in it and when he wore it again, she asked what about the other one. He said he will wear it for the next festival.

On next festival, as decided already, he wore the lavender one which had a deep neck. She expected this and hence did not laugh and spoil his mood. He asked her if it was nice on him with a doubt in his mind. She replied it was very good. He asked her "isn't this collar a little bit different? It shows a lot of my neck". She said "That's because it is supposed to be worn with a chain in neck" Saying that, she took a chain from her collection and put it in his neck. He was amazed how a simple addition changed his entire look. Now he was gleaming. He really liked the chain especially the heart shaped pendant it had. Yet he said "But this is yours. How can I wear it?" She replied "WHAT IS WRONG IN IT?"

Part 2

Chapter 5

The career progression

Kiranmayee got more and more accolades in office. Within 6 months she became a strong contender for TL role. She tooka bold decision of selling their Activa and buying a bigger, faster and a more reliable bike. Kranthi suggested ebikes and other gearless scooters. But to his shock, she decided to buy a Royal Enfield. He never rode it before. But she rode it when she was in college. Being a city girl she used to go on bike rides with gangs of bikers. She always wanted to own such bulky bikes. Kranthi had nothing to say so he agreed to her. When they took the delivery, she asked him to ride it to temple. But he denied. He said "It's your dream bike. I don't want to display male dominance here and steal your moment. I want you to ride it. I don't mind taking the pillion seat.". Hearing his words every one in the showroom started clapping for him. She felt very happy and rode it to the temple and back to home. He took good care of the bike such as dusting it daily and washing it regularly.

The powerful new bike and the powerful dresses she wore almost confirmed her promotion. Even the other contender started admiring her for her courage and agreed that her leadership skills were awesome. The same guys who commented on her sales succes were poised to work under her. This made her fly high in happiness. She started getting bonuses now which she saved for future. When she eventually got promoted, she thanked the gods again for giving her such a wonderful spouse who can take care of everything, cared for her, cooked for her and took over all her daily household jobs and supported her career.

Kranthi on the other hand, being an introvert, did not get any better job. Whichever offers he got were purely because of his creative and artistic hardwork. The animation he created, the colour pallet used by him, the designs used by him etc made him irreplaceable in his office. Yet he did not do well in interviews because of his shy nature. Luckily for him, his company was taken over by a big MNC based in silicon valley in California. It works for various Hollywood films. Upon this take over the company announced cost cutting measures and instead of giving hike in salary they have WFH option to all staff.

His male colleagues were not happy with this. Gents seek to go out and hangout with friends. For them WFH means a disconnect with their buddies. They cannot go to parties/bars after the work anymore. This one by one they all started to quit. They were replaced by newly recruited girls in his office and since he was a senior, he was given additional responsibility of training the new girls and training them. So he was offered a 30% hike as well as permanent WFH option. He needed to attend zoom meetings and train them. This almost happened simultaneously with Kiran's promotion.

Chapter 6
The first major step

Both of them were very happy and buy some gits to each other. Kiran said "let's not waste money on pettu gifts. Let's buy gold ornaments which will appreciate in value and help us in getting good amount in future when we can pledge them and take loan for the purpose of down payment for our Home Loan. They both contributed equally and bought a gold necklace set which came with rubies and Emaralds along with jhumkas.

In her excitement she did not notice it but later after reaching home with the ornaments, she realised that both of them contributed equally but only she got the gift. She felt guilty and suggested to return the ornaments and purchase some things for both. Kranthi denied saying "it really doesn't matter. You using it or me using it, what makes the difference? I'm happy that we are investing for our future"

Agreeing to his logic she asked him to wear it. When he again denied it she said "For my sake. Just to remove the guilt in me. Please wear it". He couldn't say anything else. So he went close to her asked her to put in in his neck. He bowed down his neck in shy after admiring himself in the mirror. She saw it in his eyes how much he liked it and said

Kiran: I think it suits you. You should keep it. I will buy something else later.
Kranthi: Nothing like that both can wear it.
Kiran: so when will you pierce tour ears for your Jhumkas
Kranthi: You wear them they will go nicely with the Red and green saree which you have.
Kiran: You seem to have an eye on my saree why don't you wear it.
Kranthi: No No No ..
Kiran: why not? It's not as if it's your first time. You have already worn saree and dances in front of thousands of people on stage.
Kranthi: That was when I was a kid.
Kiran: Oho... Then what about your new kurthis you are wearing oflate?
Kranthi: what about them?

Kiran explained it all to him. He was embarassed to his bones. He did not have any answer.

Kiran: If you do not like wearing my clothes, you can stop wearing those immediately. Can you?
Kranthi: But they are so nice on me. The colour, the fit, the softness the embroidery work on it....
Kiran: The blouse of my saree has better work on it. We can alter it to fit you. The colour I guarantee will suit you better than me. It's a silk saree. What can be more softer?
Kranthi: I will not look good.
Kiran: Are you going to contest in any pagent? All I'm asking you is to wear it so that I will not have to live in a guilt.
Kranthi: Okay... I agree... WHAT'S WRONG IN IT?

Part 3

Chapter 7
The ignition

She asked him to take a bath and remove all body hairs and come. While he was at it, she took out the saree, blouse and the required makeup kit. She adjusted the blouse slightly and kept everything ready including the bra, panty, inskirt and some socks to fulfill the bra. When he came out he took full control and masterfully give him a comprehensive makeover including nailpolish. He was shy but he surrendered completely to her. After he was ready, she put some bangles on his hands and put the necklace aswell. He looked awesome. She took out her camera and asked him to pose for pictures. He showed various mudras and bhangimas wearing the saree. It was like a re ignition to his dancing desires. He was overwhelmed with happiness and hugged her tightly saying thankyou. She responded by giving him a good smooch smearing his lipstick. His smeared lips invited her to do more and in a rush of blood she lifted him in her arms and spun around and took him on to the bed. She enjoyed taking off the jewellery and clothes one after the other. He took cooperated in the act and behaved like a shy wife on first night. They finally enjoyed every inch of eachother's body having a great time.

Kranthi woke up next day in naked glory. His makeup was still on and His longish hair in a mess. He was still in Kiran's arms and when he tried to move she also woke up. Seeing this condition, she said
Kiran: Good Morning babe.
Kranthi: Good Morning. Can you please let me go?
Kiran: No I like this feeling. I don't want to leave you.
Kranthi: Are baba I have to use washroom. Please leave me.
Kiran: give me a kiss first.
Kranthi: Leave me Kiran... It's urgent.
Kiran: then give me my kiss immediately.
Kranthi: okay here you go...

When kranthi tried to kiss Kiran's cheek, she turned and planted a kiss on his lips and left him. Kranthi playfully gave kiran a mockery slap and got don the bed holding the sheet to his chest before finding a towel. Once he got the towel he tied it to his waist. Seeing that kiran shouted in amock anger "Shameless girl. Cover your breasts". To which Kranthi pulled the towel up and said "Happy now?" and went into the loo.

Kiran to got out of the bed and wore Kranthi shirts and T Shirt . She took out a 5 piece lounge night wear set which came with matching bra, panty, camisole, short shirts and a long front open gown which had a belt with same material to tie at Waist. They all were in bright pink colour. It was bought by Kranthi as a gift to Kiran during their honeymoon trip. She never wore it. This was the first time it came out of the packet. Understanding the mischief, Kranthi decided to play along and came out wearing all those and inserting his socks in the bra to make fake boobs. He stood at the vanity mirror and did some touch-up and kept a bindi between his eyebrows. He went into the balcony to present himself as a wife to her husband. Kiran whistled and said "Let's take leave and enjoy today. I want to give my entire day to my beautiful wife". Kranthi agreed and did so.

Chapter 8
Venturing out

They spent the entire day teasing and playing with each other. They cooked & ate together. They danced to some Tamil & Hindi songs with him pretending to be heroine and her as hero. Kiran wore a simple Tshirt and Jeans while Kranthi explored almost all of Kiran's dresses and sarees. She taught him how to hooka dn unhook the bras how to wear and handle saree, All the mannerisms of ladies, what ladies talk when amongst each other etc. By the end of the day, when it was dark enough, Kiran suggested to go to a movie. Kranthi feared being caught. But when Kiran showed him photos and videos she took from morning, even he couldn't find any trace of him being a man. Infact, they both agreed that Kiran was at a greater risk of getting caught. So they ordered a fake moustache for Kiran and breastforms & hair extensions for Kranthi in one of the immediate delivery apps.

They disguised in opposite genders and went out towards their bike. Kranthi feared that they might come face to face with many known persons as they had to walk past many flats in their apartments in the corridors, wait for the lift, may travel in lift with others, walk past the security and maybe many others in the parking lot. With increased heart beat he clasped onto Kiran's hand and walked beside her. He wore her stone studded chappals which had thin sole while she wore his Woodland shoes which had 2 inche platform sole. This made her look taller. Kiran extended his arm for Kranthi to hold on to. They looked like a perfect couple, but in opposite genders. Luckily for them, nobody bothered to mind them. Kranthi had to sit on back seat with both legs on one side because of his frock. He found it very difficult to hold Kiran with one hand, hold his purse and skirt with another hand as it was lifting due to breeze. At the theatre, a lot of men irrespective of age started looking at him. He asked Kiran why those men are looking at him like that. Kiran said "It's a common problem faced by you beautiful girls. We men can't take our eyes off you". Kranthi replied "What will you get by embarrassing us?".

Without even realising, they start thinking in opposite genders as well. Kranthi was not longer comfortable around men. He was afraid to go alone to buy popcorn. Kiran on the other hand started being protective with her hands around Kranthi in crowded places ensuring no body touched him. It was a family drama movie. Kiran did not enjoy it much. But Kranthi liked it very much. He cried at an emotional scene in climax. Kiran took out her kerchief and gave him asking him to to spoil his makeup. After the movie, while coming out and on bike their discussion went like

Kiran: The movie was boring in parts. The director dragged the emotional scenes with lengthy dialogues and pityful scenes. It would've been a hit if there were more action scenes.
Kranthi: No it was nice.
Kiran: Then Why did you cry?
Kranthi: I was moved when I saw how much troubles the heroine had to go through. I felt happy at the end when her troubles ended.
Kiran: Yeah it was an okay okay film. The songs were good though. The music and the locations were nice. I think they've shot the songs in Meghalaya. We must go there sometime soon.
Kranthi: Yeah. The songs were good. And the costumes, especially the saree & hair style donnes by the heroine in that dessert song, it was awesome. I wonder where they will buy such sarees.
Kiran: I'm sure such sarees are not from South India. Here we have only Cotton, Silk and traditional sarees. That one might be from Surat or Lucknow. If you like it, I will search online and buy one.
Kranthi: Yes please. And I will buy the jacket worn by the hero in that bike chasing scene.
Kiran: No No. I dont like such bling blang clothes. They make us look like a Chapri.
Kranthi: Please..., I liked it. I will do one thing, I will search 3 jackets online and send you the links. You only select one.

They spotted an ice-cream vendor on tank bund and stopped the bike. They both enjoyed a small walk sharing the ice-cream and holding hands. They say on a bench watching the waves in Hussain Sagar Lake. Kranthi saw that something was not right with Kiran.

Kranthi: What seems to be bothering you.
Kiran: Im worried about tomorrow yaar. Got a message from boss that we have a review meet tomorrow.
Kranthi: Oh come on... ! Live in the present. Tomorrow will be delt tomorrow. Don't spoil today. Cheer up. Let's take a selfie to remember today.

Kiran was not smiling for the camera whole heartedly.

Kranthi: "What should I do to make you smile?"
Kiran: For now, a kiss will do.
Kranthi: (With ablush) Let's go home, your wife will give you more than a kiss...!

They both smiled and took a selfie and headed home. This time, as it was very late, The watchman did not recognise them and asked them to tell OTP for opening the gate. After getting in, they went back to their flat swiftly without being noticed by anyone. Once home, they embraced eachother and kissed with wild passion. They had a wonderful time and enjoyed without holding back anything including. That was the first time they enjoyed in 69 position aswell. After exhausting, They both slept naked and cuddling eachother. Kiran kissed on Kranthis forehead and said "Today was awesome. The best day in my life. Will we ever have such moments again in life" Kranthi said "WHY NOT? WHATS WRONG IN IT?"
