Part 3 — Our Life After Marriage

After our wedding, my life with Keya entered a new chapter. The excitement of the ceremony slowly became the happiness of everyday life. We were no longer just two people who had fallen in love. We were partners, and we had chosen to share our future together.

Learning to live together

At first, everything felt new. I was learning how to manage our home, how to understand Keya’s habits, and how to make her feel comfortable. She was also learning about me—my feelings, my shyness, and the different sides of my personality.

Sometimes we laughed about small things. Sometimes we disagreed. But we always tried to understand each other.

Keya is a confident and stylish woman. She likes going out, meeting people, and enjoying life. I am often more comfortable with the softer, quieter side of life. In some ways, we are different, but those differences make our relationship interesting.

My favourite moments

One of my favourite things is getting ready with Keya.

Sometimes she helps me choose a sari. Sometimes she suggests which jewellery would look best. I enjoy looking at myself in the mirror and seeing how different outfits change my appearance.

My favourite jewellery is still my large nose ring. I love the way it looks with a sari and traditional ornaments. Sometimes I wear it with a bindi, earrings, and bangles, and I feel especially beautiful.

Keya often compliments me when I dress up. Her words make me feel shy, but they also make me happy.

There are days when I dress simply, and there are days when I enjoy dressing like a bride again. For me, both are part of the life I have chosen to share with her.

The two sides of my life

Even after marriage, I sometimes think about my past.

I remember growing up as Samia, being treated as a girl, and learning to live in that role. I remember the years when I tried to live as a boy and the confusion I felt during that time.

Sometimes I wonder why my feelings have been so complicated. But I am slowly learning that I do not have to understand every part of myself all at once.

I can love Keya. I can enjoy being her wife. I can also have my own thoughts and feelings about who I am.

What matters most to me now is that I am not alone.

Our future

Keya and I are still building our life together. We have dreams, plans, and many things we want to experience.

I hope we can continue to support each other and enjoy the little moments that make a marriage special. I hope we can travel, celebrate festivals, spend time with family, and create memories that belong only to us.

I also hope that, as time passes, I will become more comfortable with every part of my identity. I want to live a life where I can be honest about my feelings and still feel loved.

For now, I am grateful for the love I have found.

Keya is my partner, my best friend, and the person with whom I want to share my future.

Please pray for our happiness, our love, and our peaceful married life. ❤️

Congratulations!
