మా వీథిలో ఉండే పిల్లలు నా దగ్గరకు వచ్చి హోం వర్క్ పాఠం చెప్పించుకునే వాళ్ళు. వాళ్ళల్లో ఒకడు విస్సు. వాడికి నన్ను మధు అక్కా! అని పిలవడం అలవాటు. నేను మగే అయినా ఆడదుస్తుల్లోనే తిరుగుతానని తెలుసు. ఒక రోజు వాడు గౌనులో ఉండి పరుగెత్తుకొస్తున్నాడు. వెనకాల వాళ్ళమ్మ వెనుక గట్టిగా అరుస్తూ "ఒరే విస్సుగా! ఇవాళ నా చేతుల్లో అయిపోయావ్!" అంటోంది. ఇంతలో నేను అడ్డుపడ్డాను.."ఇదిగో గౌరత్త! విస్సుగాణ్ణి వదిలెయ్యవే. మా అత్త కదా!" అన్నాను."నువ్వు ఉండవే మధు... వాడు చూడు. గౌన్లేసుకుని తిరుగుతున్నాడు."అంది గౌరత్త. "నేనూ అంతే కదా,!" అన్నాను. "నువ్వు వేరు లేవే మధు". (ఇకాఉంది)
