You and Me

The nationwide lockdown had hit, and for many people, it brought chaos and uncertainty. But for Sanjay and Sneha, it became a time to bond and rediscover each other in unexpected ways. Sanjay, a software engineer, had been happily married to Sneha for three years. With their busy schedules, they rarely found the time to be together. But the lockdown was a blessing in disguise for them—they could finally spend time doing things together.

Sneha, a fitness enthusiast, loved her yoga and cardio sessions. Sanjay, on the other hand, was less enthusiastic about fitness. He joked that he was far from being the masculine gym guy but did enjoy working out because it meant spending time with Sneha. However, there was a small problem—Sanjay’s incredibly long hair.

Sneha had always been a bit envious of Sanjay’s thick, silky hair that reached down to his lower back, while her own hair only brushed her mid-back. Her friends often teased her about it, and she would occasionally try to convince Sanjay to trim it shorter than hers. But Sanjay enjoyed teasing her, often standing next to her while she combed her hair, showing off his longer locks.

One morning, during a yoga session, Sanjay’s hair kept falling in front of his face, making it difficult for him to follow the poses. Sneha was growing frustrated. She paused the session, hands on her hips.

"Since you’re having so much trouble with your hair during yoga, we need to do something about it," Sneha said, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Sanjay felt a wave of dread. "I am not letting you cut it!" he said, half-joking but also serious.

Sneha chuckled. "I’m not asking you to cut it, silly." Her eyes sparkled with mischief. "But since it’s bothering you, let’s style it in a way that’s… comfortable for you."
