Chapter 5 — Festival Fun, Friendship and the Memory They Kept
After darshan, the serious mood disappeared.
The four friends returned to the jathara, tried festival food, visited stalls, took photographs and laughed about the nervous Arjun from earlier that morning.
Aarohi remained in the sky-blue outfit for the rest of their adventure. The friends took care not to turn the experience into a joke at his expense. Instead, they treated the transformation as something they had built together.
At sunset, they sat together and looked at the photographs from the day.
Arjun admitted that the first few minutes had been uncomfortable because he had been afraid of being judged. But once his friends supported him, the fear gradually disappeared.
The trip ended with a group photograph and a promise:
Whatever unusual adventure came next, they would face it together.
The jathara had started as a simple temple trip. It became a story about trust, friendship, courage and the freedom to experiment with a different presentation for a day.
Arjun returned home still himself—but with a new memory, a new nickname, and three friends who had stood beside him from the first nervous step to the final smile.
