Chapter 4 — The Night at the Farmhouse
Sujan's investigation uncovered a dangerous network of criminals who had been intimidating villagers and hiding evidence. One evening, he went for a jog along a quiet village road, hoping to clear his mind after a difficult day.
The village was unusually silent. As he passed a deserted stretch of road, a group of intoxicated men surrounded him. Sujan tried to defend himself, but the attackers outnumbered him. They forced him into a vehicle and took him to an isolated farmhouse.
Inside, the criminals discovered a bag containing feminine clothing and a wig that Sujan had kept for private exploration. Instead of treating him with dignity, they used the discovery to humiliate him.
A woman associated with the gang forced him into a saree and attempted to intimidate him. Sujan resisted, turning away and demanding that they leave him alone. The criminals recorded the incident, intending to use the footage to threaten him.
The farmhouse room was dimly lit. Sujan sat trembling, his wrists restrained, his mind racing through every possible escape.
He was frightened, but he had not forgotten his training.
"Whatever happens tonight," he whispered, "I will survive."
The night became a nightmare, but Sujan's determination remained alive.
